Alnmouth, Northhumberland

Posted in General, Landscape, Travel at 4:00 pm by Warren Williams

Alnmouth is a quaint village just off the A1058 coastal highway. The golden sand beach, is one of the best around that I’ve seen, with many families out on this fine autumn day.

Don’t know how I missed these photos, you must have uploaded them all at once. Love the last shot. If i were to offer some constructive critisism, the top photo looks a bit on the red side. But that could be my computer screen, it is 7 years old 😉

Thanks again, yeah I posted them all within a couple of hours on the same night! That was a first 🙂
First shot could be ever so slightly red, but no different to others – just challenging conditions shooting into the sun. The landscape setting on the Canon 1DMk III gives richer greens and blues, for grass and sky, and usually the reds are subdued

Warren……….Did you drink that “Bud” The Americans don’t know how to brew beer………you can find far better brews around especially in Europe as I am sure you have found……My favorite ! Becks from Germany

    Cheers John R

Hey John, didn’t drink it myself – not a fan of beer. Prefer spirits myself. Just saw the bottle, and thought it would make an interesting shot – a shame about the glare from the sun.
