Budapest was once two cities &#8211; Buda and Pest, seperated by the great Danube River which officially combined in 1872.\u00a0 The Buda side is located on the western banks of the Danube, featuring the hilly terrain and historic castles. Featuring photographs from Jewish victims, historic video footage, and torture devices.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_1985.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_1985-s.jpg\" alt=\"Terror Museum, Budapest\" title=\"Terror Museum, Budapest\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nPhotography wasn&#8217;t permitted in the rest of museum, but was worth visiting for harrowing accounts of concentration camps, suffered by Jewish people from the Hungarian region.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_1998.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_1998-s.jpg\" alt=\"St Stephen's Cathedral (St Istv\u00e1n Parish Church)\" height=\"267\" title=\"St Stephen's Cathedral (St Istv\u00e1n Parish Church)\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSt Stephen&#8217;s Cathedral (St Istv\u00e1n Parish Church) &#8211; Is the largest church in Budapest, with building commencing in 1851, but not completed until 1905. Without a tripod, photos were near on impossible due to the dark conditions. Walking down one of the corridors the sweet aroma of wine became apparent, where we found a wine fountain.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_2199.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/www.warrenwilliams.co.nz\/2009\/EUR_2199-s.jpg\" alt=\"Wine fountain, Labyrinth, Budapest\" height=\"267\" title=\"Wine fountain, Labyrinth, Budapest\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWine fountain, Labyrinth (ISO 6400)<\/p>\n<p>Stepping back outside created instant stickiness against the still hot and humid conditions after 6pm local time.
