Walk of the Thames

Posted in Landscape, People, Travel at 6:30 pm by Warren Williams

Met up with a fellow photographer and friend, Darren, and took a walk along the Thames South Bank between Westminster and Tower Bridge, before returning for night shots around the embankment opposite London Eye. Plenty of other people out doing the picturesque walk, and came across many buskers.

Thanks Helen – time does fly, already 6 weeks since we did the sight-seeing on 18th November!

Wow – what was your technique with the zoom burst shots? Was it a long exposure then slowly go from zoom to a wider angle

Thanks Andy, yeah shutter speed was around 25-30 seconds (always keep exif data on the larger 800 res images)
Shooting around 10-13 seconds on wide angle – 17mm
Then slowly zooming through to 40mm (17-40L lens) and holding the zoom for the final 10 or so seconds.
