The arrival into the Freycinet National Park is marked with some spectacular views and pristine clear waters. After breakfast on the shore of Coles Bay, headed for the main carpark at the base of the Hazards (620m). Chose to complete the 11.5km walk over the Hazards, down through to Wineglass Bay, and across the isthmus to Hazards Beach, before finally zipping around the base of Mt Hazard on the coastal track.

The first 45min walking uphill is rewarded with some spectacular views across Wineglass Bay

With clear blue skies, and warm temperatures, decided to head out to a well known beach of St Kilda. The Western beach was packed with kite surfers in the strong sea breeze.
Fresh from arriving from London, took a walk around the city to familiarise myself with the new surroundings for the next month.
Flew Emirates again to Melbourne, where I’ll be based for the next month, before a further three months in NZ.

Attended the fireworks show again at Danson Park, set across the lake. The weather was atrocious, with strong winds and rain pelting down.
Whilst returning from a trip to Dover on the A260 shortly before the A2, came across a truck with horse float trailer, which had just started pluming smoke before rapidly igniting and engulfing the truck in massive fireballs. Fortunately no people or horses were harmed.

Fifteen seconds after ignition!
Samantha and her daughter Lilly-Mai, made excellent subjects in the ever changing conditions at Danson Park. The leaves started to fall just a couple of weeks back, creating a perfect opportunity to head out for some fun shots.

We had our 5th London Photography Meetup (facebook group), based around the Drift 08 – first annual art exhibition based on the Thames. Around 30 fellow photographers came, armed with tripods to capture the art between Blackfriars bridge and Tower bridge.
