The Storr, Isle of Skye

Posted in Landscape, Travel at 6:00 pm by Warren Williams

Scouting a good location to shoot for a sunrise, decided to take the walk up to the natural features of The Storr.

Walking in fairly dark conditions, experienced 4 seasons in 45 minutes, with hail lashing down on the slopes, before having snow flurries at the base of the cliffs.

Viewed from the road heading North to Storr, the walk starts from the far right, and gradually the terrain becomes more steep, and rougher.

Looking in the opposite direction, across the pinnacles and same lake shown
