Posted in Landscape, People, Sport at 8:05 pm by Warren Williams

On the hottest day of the year so far – 27 degrees celsius – met up with a friend, Mitesh Tailor, of Clarity-Rebirth.co.uk and took a long walk around the streets of London capturing events/buildings/people throughout the city.

Nano Mouse

Posted in General, Travel at 10:24 pm by Warren Williams

Whilst travelling, and moving around a lot, I’ve been using an Acer notebook for photo editing, but recently the mouse died on me, and was forced to use the touchpad recently – which is incredibly hard to use photoshop with. So set my sights on the Logitech VX Nano and was delivered this week from Amazon.co.uk. The USB wireless transmitter is incredibly small, and can stay permanently plugged in, without causing interference.

Just two days after heavy snows, the warm weather has melted the white landscapes, and brought the birds and squirrels back out.

Olympic Torch Relay in London

Posted in General, People, Sport at 3:57 pm by Warren Williams

The Olympic torch relay hit the streets of snowy London today, marred by much controversy between China and Tibet. A large police presence, and Chinese security forces surrounded the torch throughout the 31 mile trip across London.

Snowy Spring in London

The heaviest snow of the season fell today, blanketing everything in white. Started falling around 7am in Danson Park, and within a couple of hours was already 3-4 inches thick.

A morning chilly walk around Danson Park, saw a lone mute swan in the lake nearby. Not deterred by my close presence, allowed me to get a few shots.

Snow Racing at Brands Hatch

Posted in General, Motorsport at 6:12 pm by Warren Williams

After the promising look of warm weather and spring arriving, the three days of snow came as quite a shock to most people. Rather late time of the year to arrive, but the racing must still go on! Featuring high powered trucks, pick ups and single seaters – the action kept the crowds entertained.

Flying Dubai to Europe

Posted in Aviation, Landscape, Travel at 1:03 pm by Warren Williams

After a long 14 hour night flight from Sydney to Dubai the final leg, Dubai to London was a lot more interesting. Conditions in the morning departure were pretty bad with low visibility as winds stir up the desert sands, and haze lingered around. Flying Emirates, Boeing 777-300ER, A6-EBJ.

Leaving Auckland back for London, the first stop was in Sydney, with a peaceful early evening flight. The view into Sydney is very similar to Auckland, surrounded by clear blue water. Flying Emirates, Boeing 777-300ER – A6-EBI
